Jonn Herschend is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Los Angeles California. His works have been screened and exhibited nationally and internationally, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, SITE Santa Fe, Den Frie Contemporary, the Telluride Film Festival and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. He is a Commercial Director and Partner at Revelator Productions in Austin, TX and a senior lecturer in Graduate Design at the California College of Art in San Francisco . He is co-founder and co-editor of the experimental publication THE THING Quarterly, and editor of THE THING THE BOOK, published by Chronicle Books. For the Herschend Family, he has served on the Board of Directors for HFE and as chair of the family council from 2006-2009. He is currently education chair and a member of the Owner’s Council.
